Methodical work of the Department directed on perfection of educational process with the purpose of improvement of quality of preparation of future specialists areas of information security. All the lecturers have extensive experience of scientific and pedagogical work in educational institutions.

The main forms of discipline are lectures, practical and laboratory works, course projects and papers, the final stage - writing theses, projects on educational-qualifying level "Specialist", and certification of works on the educational-qualifying level "Master".

The Department is constantly developed educational-methodical manuals. At present development of the textbook “Metrology and measuring tool and devices of radio technical systems.
