On September 29, a high-level delegation from the State University of Information and Communication Technologies (SUICT) paid an official visit to Istanbul Atlas University (Istanbul, Türkiye), marking an important step in expanding the university’s global partnerships.
The delegation included Professor Volodymyr Shulha, Rector of SUICT, Professor Oleksandr Korchenko, First Vice-Rector, and Professor Mukafat Askerov.
The visit began with a campus tour, followed by a meeting with Dr. Yusuf Elgörmüş, Founder and Chair of the Board of Trustees, Professor Ersoy Koçabişak, Rector, Professor Zafer Utlu, Vice-Rector, and faculty deans.
The discussions focused on developing cooperation in the fields of education, research, and international academic exchange. Both sides expressed a shared commitment to building sustainable and forward-looking academic ties.
The visit culminated in the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding between the two universities. The document was signed by Professor Volodymyr Shulha, Rector of SUICT, Doctor of Historical Sciences, and Dr. Yusuf Elgörmüş, Chair of the Board of Trustees of Istanbul Atlas University.
The Memorandum lays a solid foundation for long-term collaboration, fostering innovation, academic excellence, and cross-cultural exchange.

The visit concluded with a working lunch with Istanbul Atlas University leadership, where both sides reaffirmed their commitment to turning agreements into real projects and outlined concrete next steps for cooperation.
